Yep, off subject, but I agree. "Honor" those who trudged the way, for us to "party on".
I have lost over the 50 years riding bikes, many friends, (probably a good 12 easy, but ..?..all good people.) none in boats so far, very little in Nam.
The solid "maniacs".."gearheads" ..pushing the "lope", something went wrong, and we all learned what NOT to do.
Of course, none are ever coming back..(but I do believe ..we will meet again, the after life, them and my "put down doggys")..but too simply "learn a little", from some tragedy..well, we all win. Some pass on WAY too early, but I still believe in those "Angels"..those who passed early in life...are simply "looking out for me"...always.."watching over me"
Don't let yesterday, take too much today...we are still here for a reason, and never doubt yer "maker"..has a plan for you...nuff "gushing out me"...

My favorite rock movie is The Bands Last Waltz.Robby Robertson,Rick Danko and Levon Helms are the epitamy of rock and roll. Levon Helms said something to the effect, that if you took all the styles of music,Country and Western,Dixieland,Soul,Jazz.Blues etc. What do you get? Rock and Roll!
That was their last concert they ever played and it was at The Filmore in 1977.A bunch of people came out and jammed wiyh them.Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Ronny Hawkings, Muddy Waters! Yeah Muddy frickin Waters! He was about 80 years old,Bob Dylan,Neil Diamond and more. I heard Levon Helms has a farm in up state New York that they have jams at in the barn on saturday nights. Maybe you New York know about it! If you hav'nt seen this movie I am begging you, PLEASE watch it. You will never regret it. Thanks,Brent
