Good plan to keep an eye on the opening size of the hull. These things are incredibly flexible with the deck off. I brought my cradle all the way to the seam of the hull/deck.

Half of the flooring has been removed, and the balsa core on the port side will be 100% exposed and removed

If that doesn't make you itch, nothing will. I'm scratching my arms now......But, looks like good progress. Tear it all out and grind it clean...Carry on....

Wow Noli that looks like a very hard strip down. Getting close to the fun stuff now tho
.
I can only work 1 hour at a time as I am sweatin' buckets in this hot weather
.
Any more progress made on the resto Noli? Im getting ready to open mine up this winter & looking at all my options. Have or what did you decide to go with for replacement core?
Trying to be optimistic about my core cuz boat was built buy John Spaeth but preparing for the worst. My transom is showing its age & needs attention so I’m already in for that. :(
hi there.
Will be back with more pics soon
the running surface and hull sides will be divinycell foam
transom and stringers will be coosa
I used this to chop up and remove the wood core on my transom restoration , be very careful if you use this...scary!

The hull is able to be tilted now. I can complete the demolition and the layup of the new core all by standing up outside the weak hull-skin
