Are they valuable ???? Well, let me say that the toy motor today is worth way more than the real original Merc 800 cost new back in 1960. That Merc 800 toy motor is one of the hottest items for toy collectors. I have posted a listing below. You will wish you had spent all your money buying them all. If we only knew...:rolleyes:

that particular painting has graced the inside of a tea chest eithe in a Eller or a shed for the last 25 years--------don't ask me why?
Used to have a massive custom made trophy cabinet with over 300 trophies in it, made by Hodges, Left it in the cellar at Avignon 12 years ago,
Had a huge painting of the first lap at Bristol with all the top boats on it, left it hanging in the hall at Brooklands Farm------have no idea what happened to it.
If I sell you this Phill, it would only piss off my kids, I may want to live with them when I grow old!

Glass is smashed and the frame broken, may have to take it apart and construct a new frame, could hang it in the shop then.

Managed a full day on the Wings, made inroads-----Tried to make the gear case too small, failed miserably-----did the next one half as big again and it looks good------not great, but passable.
Put the first coat of black on all six of the outboards and hung ' em out to dry, same again tomorrow.
Half day tomorrow------Sunday lunch at the Hilton hotel right here in the village, tell you tomorrow what the foods like.
I just found mine its not the same. Its all white and has a plastic clip on not like your clamp bracket. ob-300 plastic made in japan. totally different now that I found it and took a look at it. Thanks for the info. Ill have to keep my eyes peeled for ones like yours!
Jackie...I didn't know that, what chariots did she pull up in back in those days?....She always had an eye for wheels I remember seeing a snap of her draped across the bonnet (hood) of a Facel-Vega, all sensuous curves and equisite detail.....she looked good too!!

Yup, she lived in a bloody great old English farmhouse called "PALMERS" and drove around in a drop head convertible CADDILAC in White.

I said it before and I'll say it ------today we ate bear, Avisford Park Hilton is THE place to eat, nine out of ten! Last time I had a meal to equal that was in Macao in 2001.
They were doing a Mother's Day speciAl for $35 a head, certainly the best place to eat in this neck of the woods, better than GOODWOOD
Missed the Aussie GP but it was a bit of a procession by all accounts, things never change, if you got the right designer and the right engine at the right time, you got a world champion.
Had three good hours in the shop got another coat of black on the six motors, finished another gear case and cut out a piece of spalted beech for the other motor for Rogers big wing. If he wants them black he's going to have to do it himself.
