No windshields yet?
As usual!!! Works of art!!! Mr sandersons. Is my fav...
... But they are all beautiful... What were the weights?
What one is Lees? If ya look close you can see the wind shield.:D http://www.allisonboats.com/content/...hing-Touch.jpg
The all white is Lees
I asked the same thing on the windshield for the red one and they are working on it..just dont think it made it in time for the photo.
As for the pricing, yes it is expensive but if you compare it to an STV its in the same range. Go to the Miami boat show if you want to really get shocked. I have had 2 25 Talons that cost 30k. Hustler had a brand new one there I was foaming at the mouth for...Show special was $144,000. Gulp

It has the windshield on it in this picture.
Tim,
They offer multiple size windshields and the ones on the boats in the pictures are just temporarily installed. No drilling was done.
I'm taking Lee a couple different sizes so he can choose.
Dave I will be more than happy to tow it to you and cut you a deal...but I think my debt was paid in full ;)..and if I drop it off in TN that is where it stays..if you dont like it then you can part it out or park it next to the blown hemi and start them up on saturdays:DQuote:
Bring the I/O with you when you pick up the XR2002. If I like it cut me a deal, you owe me...remember:) After a day on the lake if I don't like it I will tow it back to WF.
Ah, must have missed that pic...I think I was distracted by the shifter sticking up 5 inches over the side of the boat..Wish they could have done that better.:rolleyes:Quote:

I wonder how a red tinted windshield would look....
Thanks for the info and picture Steve.
Guys, I'm heading to Lee's here in a few minutes. I'll be coming back empty tomorrow if I can help you out, I don't mind...........
Thanks Steve, Wish you could have brought a red boat down with you, that would have been a much shorter trip for me! Since it does not look like it will be done by Monday I am not sure when I can get there! Drive safe.
I believe your boat is done???????
Did you hear different?
Lee just told me today that Nancy said it will be ready for pick up tomorrow...but now the weather is turning bad for a week so I wait. I would like to make it home dry at least the first time out!
Supposed to be nice here on Thursday..............
What tank are you going with? If you go with the 25 gallon plastic XB-2002 tank, I have a few tips for you on installation. I'll let Bill know what I had to do for proper easy installation so he can pass it on.
Watching the weather, time is a factor now..been off since last Thursday so I may have no choice but have my Allison Family friends go fetch it..Quote:

No clue on the tank. I have been asking Lee about it but he is so busy right now. I was hoping they changed their mind and put one in the boat so I would not have to deal with that! As long as it fits properly and has a 20 gallon capacity I should be good since I am running a promax.
Allison redesigned the 2016 XR-2002 splash-well to accept the current XB-2002 fuel tank which is the 25 gallon tank I mentioned. Lee's boat is getting the aluminum 20 gallon version from yesteryear models as his has the shorter splash-well like the '97 model had. His is a truly one-off boat as it was the only one made in 2015 and a little different around the splash. The other three are identical in design.
Steve I sent you a PM
Between the 4 built so far, there was less than 20 pounds between the lightest to heaviest. Tim's being the lightest which I believe is sub 600#. That's with 2 seats, jack plate, hot foot and hydraulic steering.......
Congratulations To You Guys That Bought The Boats So Far And Helped Getting The XR02's Back In Production!! All Four Are Beautiful!! The Perfect 15" Mid Setting In My Garage Is Sure Tempting Me!!
I love all of them and all the colours. Lee have you rigged yours yet? If not, how long until she gets wet? i actually just came from the Allison site and was looking at all the pics again. No one decided to cover the side loungers I guess to save weight? A good towel and and good to go anyway really. I love my GS but of all the Allison's the XR2002 would be my choice right now if I were buying another one today. Fastest race/Pleasure vee hull with the least amount of power made im sure. I know the 01 but i consider those full race layup even though some guys have them and dont race them. Yours you can sprawl out on those loungers.
Mine has the lounge cushions. It's been wet also but just a shakedown run.
I hope to burn a couple of tanks out this weekend to seat the new rings.
Scj boat looks good saw you out for the shake down,, see you at the rally
More pics of these 2016's please !!!! Dash, interior, the black mota's on the back...........
