Andy Driver, in HIS venom, with his setup, motor, tweaking, hard work, and talent is the quickest around. To drive a v bottom takes a ton of skill and IMHO, more than the skill needed to drive a tunnel. Learn too drive your boat before you get too carried away running your mouth, that is the only way you will know what your limitations are. We all started somewhere, just get a lifeline and be safe.

Russell is the proud owner of a Venom but he is no way on the same team as snakebit. We will have a lot of fun setting it up. Wednesday nights at the meadows will be entertaining. John Tiger tested an SS2000 over 80 mph with a 115 Etec some years ago. Mark Smiley got high 90's out of a lightly modified 150 Promax on an SS2000. I don't think any other 20' boat could come close to those numbers.
I am not a lot faster than the 115 Etec with my 150 XR4. That is a reflection of what I've put into set up, vs what could be done.
I also think an STV is the safest way to go 100+ in a 20 foot boat.
Any guesses on the relative speed of an SRV vs an SS2000?
