Looks real nice!
that was a Raybo idea, instead of drilling a hole in the center of the deck, and lifting there, we used the exsisting cleats, the only diffrence is there a little larger but designed to lift, he glassed a plate with studs, its the same concept that Skater uses to bolt there seat to the floor,
I've read different areas of this post. Does your boat still have the 18" of setback that it came with, have you shortened it up since purchased? What speed have you seen out of it with the Evinrude?
Dirk,
I am curious how you feel the Tuff handles compared to a standard Linder 21.
Have you driven it enough to make a comparison?
Thanks
it wouldnt be a fair comparison because of the set up, non of the Superboats that i have owned (5) were setup with that much set back, but with the limited time I have with the Tuff, what I do see it is rock solid, and accellerates a lot faster than the Superboats with almost equal power, but the acceleration could be a by product of the torque of the Etec.......
Very good looking boat.
got another part, I always found this is the best way to control trim, and engine height, 2 buttons for trim one for the set back, I put skateboard tape on one button so I can feel it...........
Correct me if wrong...motor trim in/out, jack plate trim up/down, and jack plate set back in/out?
So where are each oriented in that pic?
Oh yeah, that wheel is awesome!!
