I was talking to Mike, who is going to make a new mold said the 24 above Is the 23 boat, I've always thought the inboard and outboard are different but he says the way UIM measures the boat it's a 23,

any overhang past the end of the keel is NOT included in the boat's overall length, my boat has 22 inches that don't count.

According to the way, the rules are written.

That formula makes since to me, because it is not a part of the Hull's surface-contact on water.
