Tom Percival’s ABBATTE “Tomcat” is parked next door with RON HOWE his long time mechanic standing far right. One of the 16’ MM Levi’s in front , but i cant identify it . Thought the guy scrutineering my boat was Chris Hodges at first glance due to the Dutch cap he is donning but its not.
Guy was the chase comandatore [he was a gold bullion dealer and raced ON but damned if i can remember his name —JOHN ??????].
Looks a bit like STEVE WEST in the black Mercury jacket.
Boy that looks like girl or vice versa damned if i can remember - wasn’t one of mine — no mistaking any of my kids gender !!!!!!!!!!

Done better than that Pilgrim—- flying out Posh class BA Tuesday morning. Be in Palm City crack-o-Sparrer wednesday . Be a right royal pain in the asse for all the old farts at the weekend .
We have Singapore style rain at least three days a week lately.
Man hole covers have popped — septic tanks overflowed int the streets —-roads have become rivers . Hell of a job deciding whether to take the boat —— put on swim trunks or take the TRUSTY LEXUS before venturing forth.

That’s it , I’m all done and dusted , saw the nurse and had my last blood tests of the season. No results yet on the scan which means i have to get them on my return !!!!!!!
God was having his drinks on the rocks last night — how can i tell ???????? Golf sized hailstones for ten minutes this morning ,
Drove to Eastergate down the lane on the way to the surgery—— floor pan height floods all the way there , thought i might try coming back through Barnham village !!!!! Was worse than Eastergate lane . Good job i had the TRUSTY LAXUS !!!!!

No doubt about it — that little black Molinari was the fastest boat in Europe , but was prone to winds and sloppy water . Had one of the very first 1350 BP’s . Was up front when it threw a blade and sheared the lower unit . Although it was found many years later when there was a drought up at CHASEWATER with a blade missing . Ran a 1000BP at Windermere — but damned if i can remember the reason for that !!!!!!!

31st October—D-DAY !!!!!!!!!!!! Old farts ,ready or not —here i come -departure time 11-00am .—ten hour flight- then a two hour drive . Four hour time difference , so i should be in Palm City in time for dinner today. Maybe get to do do all the things ive always wanted to do but simply ran out of time.
