Dirk ur doing it? When are u gonna be done?
the set back came off real easy the motor is on a stand that i borrowed from billy, in my garrage, the boat is at Raybo hes putting the lifting rings in and hes going to blueprint the bottom if needed hopefully soon, but even though I dont like listening to you;) I did:thumbsup: I bought the bobs just waiting for them to powder coat it
Leaving no stone unturned I see...
Dirk,
Hold onto all the setback you are taking off in case you ever decide to go back to it (or go run up in canada)!

Can you chime in and let us all know how good or bad the bottom is before you do your thing? and what might be left behind from being splashed?
as you know no one boat coming out of the mold is the same, we will see soon enough, also the biggest issue was the steering the hc6345 seastar just couldnt handle the high engine heights and the bigger wheels, hopfully between the side mount system, and dumping 8" of setback will be the trick
Blueprint the bottom. Put some trim tabs on it and leave the setback as is. Fast in the flats and control in the ruff. If you have a large amount of steering torque that shows a problem related to the way the lower is going thru the water and is scrubbing off speed. jm2cts
Another jerkoff. Let me guess u been down here watching people drive? Tuffs get set up for mud puddles (crazy set back stupid light) and that's just not our aplication we need ruff water handling mixed in with top end. Maybe sea star is good for 90+ on the puddle but I don't trust it down here where the big boys play lol.
Jerkoff:rolleyes: You guys are not the only group that has bumpy water … There are some Mud puddles up here that you BIG girls couldn't handle … Sandy:D
This guys making fun of Sandy now? Real classy lol. I hope all the S.I.M takes offense to that and chooses to chew this guy up with his ****ty flats boat. Y don't you have a tuff guy? Lol cause your only a internet "tuff" guy lol
