That clearly explains this one with the skeg, but not the earlier ones without the skeg that appear to be under 76 cubic inch motors - which would imply 1961 or 1962

As faras I know, Elmer Nord was chosen to be pilot. As I heard the story he got moving across the Lake and the thing took off. Elmer still brags he holds the altitude record at Lake X.Attachment 467302
