Don't blame his lack of progress on me. Its the florida work schedule. Start at 10. Two hour lunch at 1 and done for the day. No wonder they get anything done down here.:D

Now thats hilarious!
When I was still in Ohio and trying to find a job down here I had a guy actually tell me that.
He told me the hourly rate and then what his guys made per wk and when I told him the math didn't work he explained, "well dude, we don't like to work that hard" and basically went on to explain a schedule similar to yours :p
Never met the guy but I envisioned a bleach blond, long hair, no shirt, bare foot, shorts wearing "dude" burning one while sitting on an old bus seat outside his trailer w/surf boards laying everywhere. Oh yeah, while talking to me on the phone.
I think I have also heard something about a siesta in there.....:reddevil:
if nobodys doing anythin how come car insurance is so expensive?
Only a two hour lunch and no nap time .. Pfffttttt .. ain't happ-en-in .. :nonod:
Datz rite, I'm old ... :o I only work half days ... 8 till 8 .. ;)
Pitcherz .. I only like to see em up side down twice .. Once when the bottom is gettin welded ... then other is when it's gettin painted ..
Anyone wanna guess how much the bare frame weigh's ... :D
Chaz, The work on that frame is amazing!!! I also love that mid-section you built. I love the attention to detail. Is that all Chromoly tubing? Is it all TIG welded? I am a welder myself, just a different type. I am a certified pipe welder. i appreciate great craftmanship and fabrication. GREAT WORK!!!
From one steel farmer to another .. Thank You JD .
The frame was built to a set of full size blueprints that Dan Ellison drew up.
Monty gave me a set of parameters to build the mid section within, and cut me loose.
Every bit of it is 4130N tubing or bushing stock. All the tabs and bracket's are being plasma cut from .083 molly plate as well .
It is all being glued together with 70S-2 x .035 wire , using a 3/32 2% thoriated tungsten and a # 6 cup flowing 22.5 Scfh of argon ..
Ohh .. and my son bought me a new lightweight Jackson helmet for Christmas .. I had to sneak my 1.5 diopter lens in so I could see ... I also had to pitch that orange or yellow , whatever it is shaded, #10 lens , for a smoke tint , # 9 ... old dog new tricks I guess .. :D
You lost me at "Thank You JD"
Don't worry, make the lasagna .. I'll take care of the rest .. ;)

Chaz, I love the Jackson helmets too. They are made about 45 minutes from where I live. I have always used them. It sucks when your eyesite gets worse, doesn't it? I am friends with your buddy Tony (tux). He gave you very high marks for your talents and I can see why. P.S. You guys sure do love to eat!!!:D
vnemous, was that a little over your head? Tell chaz he needs to give you some welding lessons between naps. P.S. thanks for hooking me up for those parts. I'm the guy Tony sent you a message about. I appreciate it very much!!!:cheers:
