Yep...1970 Nationals. That's Ray Parker handing fuel to Jeff. Jeff ran his Scat with an OMC in U and S and Danny's with a Merc in J (I think). Danny may not have been old enough to run. Don't think his Mom would let him anyways as I believe he had already blown it over at home. I know I mentioned this before, but notice that the name of the boat is "Pickle Fork". Jock Horner said that's what it looked like and the name stuck with tunnel development.

I'm confused on what model years these changes were made:
- Water pump side inlets added to gearcase
- Pull start in top cowl was deleted
- Chrome rib on top cowl was deleted
- Manual choke button in top cowl was deleted.
I have a 1967 950 SS mounted on a stand in the garden (yard art) and it has no pull starter or choke button in the top cowl, but still had the chrome rib and used a perforated trim tab for water pump pick up (prop blast). Two new coats of gloss back and an after market decal set and it looks like a brand new engine (115 hp) in the yard.
