WATCH THIS space —-leaving any time soon —- house is empty —great news Lizzie tested all clear for covid at lunchtime —-at least thats three more coming. I am supposed to feel excited —do i ??? Not particularly — but i will pretend to be as so many people have put so much effort into the event.
I will be very surprised [and disappointed ] if my grandson Craig doesn’t turn up !!!!!
i have been pitting wits with the three boys since they were knee high to a grass - hopper.
Lost out on that one —Craig never showed - but James Sheppard turned up.—all went well - did a speech — broke down a couple of times in the middle ——-believe me -i have early piccies of boat racing i never knew existed .
All tuckered out — need to sleep -talk tomorrow

have more birthday cards and presents than i ever had in my life before —- if i had known i was going to get this many presents i would have hurried up a bit instead of dawdling.
tell you what though— im slowing dawn to crawl to reach a hundred . I have to pace myself these days. I take a walking stick with me these days to go bird-chasing. Like the old birds with Parkinson’s best ???????

Had visits from my Daughter and husband — sister — thought i crapped out on the speech— seems it turned out not too shabby after all.
