ive never been much on High end photography. Meaning Me taking the pictures vs what others can do with a camera. But just recently Ive started taking Pictures at Drag Boat races and once in awhile ill dabble if i see something that interests me. I stepped up from those cheep pocket digital self contained cameras to a Sony Alpha series with a 18 to 70, 75 to 300 and a 200 to 500 lenses. Added a 1.4 Multiplier and I just upgraded to a Sony a700. Caught what i thought was a pretty cool series of shots the other evening off my Front Porch. There were 7 in total but I liked these four the best.

You got the bug now. My wife is into the "macro" lenses and has dozens of spider webs with dew on them, extreeme close ups of flowers, ice crystals on glass etc. she has had printed and framed. There's all sorts of avenues to explore. Your shots are very cool imo.
Got this one a few weeks back.
