Jerry please define to us exactly what a assault weapon is. Is it a type of gun that looks scary or any weapon that is used in an assault? Hammers, Knives, Pots, Pans that can bash your brains out? Please understand this. The last shooting was not caused by an assult weapon nor was one found. The alledged assult weapon found in the trunk has none whatsoever comparison to a assault weapon.

Yeah, I agree 100%. At least after butting heads with the NRA, Biden has brought in the gaming industry. I have a 5yr old and it is a struggle to monitor what he sees. The thing about it is this, most of these attacks are by people who have no right to these guns to begin with. Most if not all of the guns used in school attacks were taken without permission or stolen; they were not bought legally by the attackers. Most criminals who kill using guns obtained the guns illegally through either stealing them or through the black market..... Yes, there are a few legal gun owners that crack and kill someone, but most are from the use of illegally obtained guns. So, if you were to put a ban on guns, you'd still not stop the criminals and sickos from getting guns............ Even if you were to completely shut down all gun manufacturers and seize all the known guns out there, there would still be plenty of "unknown" guns in the criminal possession and that my friend would be the travesty.......

we have designated a police force dedicated to the school system. they even have their own patrol cars, with lettering on the side stating them as "school police". hmm, how wierd we must be :rolleyes:. yep us down here in the "south" are just,,, whatever your word dejour of the day to somehow make yourselves feel better about yourselves, is just "LAUGHABLE". fun out :cool:

When this sicko gunman enters with the ak47 with 10 clips he has put his life in great danger if he does it here. Depending on what MerNuts is packing concealed that day will dictate the response. If I happen to have my 6 round Smith and Wesson Governor, which has double ought buckshot 410 shotgun shells, I will be able to take him out with one shot that has limited risk of collateral damage to other mall goers with through and through. If I have my Navy Seal model 22 caliber pistol with the supressor (legal of course) I will possibly be able to put 2 behind his ear with nobody else much hearing the silenced pop if Im that close. If I have my Dirty Harry Model 29 Smith and Wesson 44 magnum I sometimes carry in a cowboy style holster, the perp may very well drop to his knees and become a whiny bitch at the utter fear of being blown 10 feet backwards and off his feet with a single shot when he has the chance to "make my day", or if I'm packing the 5.7 with the 30 round clip concealed he may take a half dozen or so between the eyes and in the upper torso before he even hits the ground. I don't like to carry my compact 45 derringer to the mall because it only holds 2 and I could miss. Im much more comfortable with one of the 9 mm's that hold over 20 in case my aim is bad or the battery in the lazer site gets weak. Jerry fails to acknowledge that these shooters are cowards and only attack unarmed targets. An Alabama Mall is not a good place to search for defenseless prey and neither are a number of other Southern States. At least you have Hillary in New York Jerry.
