My Clymers book shows .018-.025
Loose motors run better than tight ones...I have found that "fine Hone'in" wit a larger ring gap, works well..."fine Hone'in=hone wit scotchbrite, after regular hone'in"...To me, .030 gap iz perfect...I know what tha book sayz, but I alwayz thought bookz wuz wrote ta start an arguement:eek: :eek: ...REX:cool:
I run them big too, but not that big though. How much piston clearance is there. It sounds like you have a standard piston and a .010 over bore.:eek:
