Mercury T2 complete with spare powerhead , cowlings and stuff

Well I hate to do this but realize I will most likely never run these motors. Sorry for the very long post....


T2 Motor and Spare Powerhead / Parts for Sale- Selling ONLY AS A LOT.
WILL NOT SEPERATE
Completely restored and ready to run T2, 15”mid with 1-1 SSM lower unit. Currently has Single pipe exhaust system on it (supposedly one of only three made by Mercury) . Also, it has all exhaust components to convert BACK to the original closed chest exhaust system EXCEPT the outer aluminum plate which can easily be made from ¼” aluminum plate.
The current single pipe motor has complete cowling, cut to fit the pipe. Also have complete UN CUT extra T 2 cowling and motor pan for the stock exhaust system if you choose to run that one. Both cowlings are in EXCELLENT condition with fresh paint and decals
First Powerhead (on the motor) is a heavily modified, single ring finger ported pistons (new rings), lightened rods, new bearings, gaskets, balanced crankshaft and lightweight flywheel. Significant work has been done on the intake side of the block. All fuel lines are NEW, carbs have been rebuilt. Motor has never had gas in it since restoration. Lower units have been resealed and pressure tested overnight to 15 PSI. It turns very smooth. Possibly this motor was built for competition in the OPC “S” class back in the day. It has an 8500 RPM switchbox on the motor.

Second Powerhead – T2 powerhead bored to .030 by Richard Austin. New pistons, rings, everything inside. All new fuel lines, carbs done, Light flywheel. Powerhead is DROP ON READY. It was built as my spare for the Schulze tunnel boat I had a few years back. This engine has only seen 20 minutes of test run time on a stand, never on a boat.
Many spare gaskets, old gaskets for patterns, reed block parts, etc. anything I have T2 related is included. 3 SSM props included in the deal. All cleavers., various pitches.
I will provide detailed pictures to Seriously interested parties. If you know me you know this stuff is PERFECT!!!!
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT SHIP THIS STUFF. Motor will have to be disassembled for transport.
