I have a stack of old Power Boating magazine from the 1930's , hope you enjoy these racing stories.
I find the picture in the bottom right-hand corner interesting. It is rare, at least the races I attend in the mid-west, to see 5 or 6 boats straight across at the starting line. More often than not they are all scattered in the chute coming to the start.

As we approach the 1955 National Championship regattas , I thought we would go back and look at the articles from Speed and Spray magazine and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the champions. I wonder if any of these champions are still with us today,
First off , the 1955 Stock Outboards Nationals from Devil's Lake Oregon.
