has anyone tapped into the shrader valve [laser] to run a gauge up to the dash? seemed simple enough, but cant find a coupler/connector from valve to poly hose line. its some kind of spec thread, need a female to thread on shrader valve? or a better way? any suggestions would help,tks ArtK
eliminated schrader with a "T"... ran braided stainless up to dash... gauge and stainless came from summit...........
You need a "gauge isolator" if you're going to run the line through the cockpit... so gasoline doesn't spray all over or the line fails or gets cut (or if the gauge fails and leaks).

a T ?. dont want to take the inj front apart, cant i just thread somthin on the schrader? a nipple of sort?
ya keepin' tha "factory reg" and etc?.. always "pro stocked" all my laser junk..... as for a fuel leak. ya already have lotsa fuel junk in tha boat ta start with.. if worth a grain a salt then you would not increase tha chance of a fuel leak anymore than is already in tha boat.......... jmo.
Most of the fuel inside the boat isn't under "EFI" pressure or where it would spray onto your lap after a failure or accident... but to each his own. :cheers:Quote:

i went through two of those before i gave up and went ta mechanical.... they jus didn't last very long.
i ordered a 6' poly shrader ext hose ebay, shrader female end to engine other to hand held gauge. ill know whats up after 1 run. 6$ hose ebay for the race car we used soft copper appliance frdge stuff, compression fittings only 6psi for a big holly4bbl.
