Venom with 200R

Reynolds Racing Marine is selling Venom’s now. There is a link on their website to a Facebook video of a pass.

So they probably have an idea how the 200R performs.

I read the post and had some questions. this is a link I found.

Is this a new or old hull design?
Price of boats reasonable.

Any vids of it flying with the 200R?

There's a video of it running in the FB link above. No idea what the engine is other than it looks like a Merc 4 stroke v6 or v8 based on cowl. The prices don't mention an engine and list a trailer as an option. So I'd say you're well into the 50k plus range for a complete package.

Sorry, you are correct, it’s not a 200R, based on the cowl. The unpainted gearcase fooled me

That's great to hear. Who's building the Venom ? Is he still selling Allisons ?

Yes Glenn got one of the first 200R's out there and brought it to Jasper. I believe he swapped the gear case from a Sport Master to Torque Master for the weekend.

Edit- I stand corrected if it was a mechanical motor on the Venom then it wasn't a 200R, but I know Glenn has one. Mr. Fastbass has been running one as well.

Seems to change with the wind. As I recall, a group out of 'Sconi is building a different version. And last I knew, Chub from Stroker had the OG molds. Hydrostream has such a bizarre builder history.
