does that prop provide good stern lift or is it bow lifting
According to Mazco, bow lift. http://mazcoprops.com/r-e-4-propeller/
Yes, the RE4 was known for bow lift. I just sold one as it had too much bow lift for running solo in my SS2000. Is Mazco back in business?

I ran the RE 4 on my bullet that I've since sold. Was a good overall prop. I'd keep it if it was Flo torq hub.
TTT. Make an offer.
to those asking about Mazco. I called the number and left a message. Got a call back a few days later. They seem to be back in business
How would this compare to a trophy plus.
I got a light IO glastron with a 400ish HP SB that seems to love trophys
I have a 26 on it and it spools it up very easy.

I also ran a trophy on the 1991 bullet i used this prop on. The trophy was a 26, while this is a 28. I'd say this prop felt like it had more direct traction once on plane. It's larger diameter and the blades have more surface area than the trophy. More reaction to trim also.
I have run a 26 Trophy and a 26 RE4 on my SS2000. The Trophy had less lift and handled better. But the guy I sold the RE4 to needed the lift and it works great for him. Your results may vary
TTT. Super clean. $650 shipped.
Good talking with you, looking forward to getting this prop, thanks again
