I know the guy that owns that 24 Progression in picture 9 of the 1996 brochure.

That the guy works for Merc probably helped with the cost.
Edit: What I meant was, I've seen it in person and that's a really nice boat.

XR2 Magnum
Thanks for posting these pictures. It looks the same as a barn find XR2 that I'm in the process of freshening up. Mine is basically a fat block with steel sleeves (2.0 liters) with WH carbs mounted on a one piece adapter with a single ram trim. Right now it's torn down to a bare block for inspection and cleaning... The skirt looks identical to the picture in the brochure which I've never seen before. Should end up being a good sandbar conversation starter at the very least.
