300x block question?

Are 300x reman blocks the same as 300x original factory blocks?

Anyone know about this?

One would assume that if you are buying a reman 300x from Mercury .. that you are actually getting a correct block back.
Before laying out you money, I would go to the source to get conformation .. :thumbsup:

I have both a black painted and gold plated 300x powerheads from Mercury Racing same part number on the invoices 61-840756A04. Mercury Racing told me the painted block is 100% new not remanufactured?

Back to square # 1`. If it's a real 300x it will have an 1.715 x 2.330 ex. port.
And the ex. log's won't have "speed rail's" in the floors.
No matter what color it's painted.
