Bought the front bucket seats from Amazon. I had the back seat made to match. I used EVA foam decking instead of carpet. Let me know what you think.
Not quite done but getting there.

I like it!
Uhpolstrey is one of the only things I can’t do myself so am always anxious to see cost saving tricks.
When I lived in Fla I used to see all those gorgeous Fineline interiors but knew they cost more than my boat!
Well done!
Looks good. I bought an upholstery sewing machine years ago so I could learn how to do it. Never really even learned how to thread machine let alone learn anything other than I probably shouldn't have bought machine.

Which EVA flooring did you use and are you happy with installation? I want to do this myself too because the cost for SeaDek, GatorStep and others is ridiculous to me.
I bought no name brand from Amazon. I had to buy pieces from 2 different sellers. 6 pieces total. About $500 total for all the pieces. More than 5 times what carpet would have cost. The pieces I used on the floor are slightly different from the ones I used on the sides If I was going to do it again, unless I could get a bigger piece, I would use the straight line pattern. The diamonds get bigger and smaller even on the same piece. It is very hard to get the pattern to line up correctly, and the seams are visible. With the straight lines it would be easy to hide the seams completely. Aside from lining it up, it is easy to install. Just like carpet. Cuts easy with a scissor or utility knife. They are self-adhesive but I used contact cement anyway. I will have to see about durability.
The guy who made the back seat gave me some vinyl to make the side panels. I had it embroidered then sewed them together and installed them myself. Stitching is not perfect but good enough for my first time.

I’ve done a couple of interiors and interior pcs on my $16 e-bay sewing machine.
It will do but does not like doing 3 layers of vinyl.
Did a complete cruiser interior, in cloth, w/it.
Far from perfect but fine for what it was and my target market for resale.
A local interior shop used to offer classes on the trade.
About $1500 as I recall.
Came very close to doing it.
My current Convincor project needs all of the cockpit seat bases replaced.
Pretty sure I can duplicate what’s there structurally, in better/lighter material and reuse the skin.
What I always here in my head though is, what it would look like w/a modern designed interior????
