You can turn it into a 2 blade
Yes, i have one. 4 bld.x24p i think. i ran it once, long ago. never found much info on it. do you know anything about them? it is one good lookin prop.quad-r-jet
Made by Peter Dean, well accomplish Australian offshore champion.
Production is in Georgia USA.
wow. looks like offshore cut chopper. i cant even remember what i ran it on. i dont know the dia, has a mirror finish, nice cup, Time to dust it off. dont think it has o lot of rake. went on propco site, no over-hub props listed, ill take a pic and send it to Peter Dean
I have two other rare birds, over-hub DENNIS26 and a dennis22. i was told they mfg. in florida, mid 80s, for shadow & allison bass boats. The 22 came on a 84 astro-glass i bought. it has a roll on the leading edge, hooks up like no other, make a great drag prop. the 26 found on ebay! what a score. my scorpion still top dog.
Just be be on the side of caution them props bite hard and are known to shear of prop shafts and drive shafts in airborne chop back in the late 80s new power old props hooked up Attachment 498740
I see, do you know if anyboby still runs them ? or an unpopular outdated design. seems everyone wants BITE.. cant remember if it hada lot of torque steer. ran it on lake tarpon, no chop.
The Place that had a lot of them was Hornes marine salvage lake magorie is where they use to race F1 and sc class but that was according to my memorie From Don a old mentor who said nothing sounds better than a V 8 Johnson screaming 9000 rpm on the back stretch them cosworths Wont come close but I have seen a few in Dons Salvage tho on the back wall all dusty hiding away
