Who's the best to talk to about a 300x?

Your probably best to explain a little .
Just trying to get some more info on the motor I just picked up it's an 01 300x. I would like to put all the later electronics and heads on this one. Just curious if there was anyone out there that knew plenty about them
If you mean 300xs electronics I'd say its not gonna work. An 01 300x is a great engine as is!!
No I mean swap out to 05 300x stuff

Yes the 2002's thru 2005 were also called Pro Max .. as well as a 2.5 model that also carried the PM logo . I have a friend in town here that his driver's license says Maxwell ******* , I sometimes call him Pro Max to aid in the confusion .. ;)
So , do you have a Pro Max or a 300x Pro Max :
Does your motor have a single Motorola PCM on the starboard side ..?
Or two black pancakes on the very rear bolted to the CDM (coil) :rolleyes: plate ..?
Do your CDM's have 4 or 5 wires going in on the primary side .. ?
Does your motor have a flat plate at the very front .. ?
Or does it have a single throttle body sitting on top , tilting back a few degree's .. ?
Can you see the injectors from the outside on the starboard side .. ?
Depending on your answers , you either have a 290 horse , pre -X
Or you have a 330 horse genu-wine X .
I have a genuine x, the later years 04-05 have better coils and ecu. But that requires everything from one as far as wiring and such. I've spoke to the guys at DBR, they told me to find the later model electrics.
