Looks like $hit because I am a novice builder... I think I am going to paint it primer gray with white and black accents.
my mate in OZ has one, did a wheels up landing, fancy a repair job?
Did one from a kit years ago, came out good..... have plans for a LazyBee.... going to super size it......
The ParkZone Sport Cub mods..
Tundra tires from an FMS Kingfisher. A change to different prop hardware netted a drop in weight of almost 20 grams. This was reciprocating weight added to make it fly better and it was out on the nose. Which makes a big difference in CG (center of gravity). Pictures on CG stand with a larger battery full forward and it looks a slight nose down PERFECT.
Film at eleven!!! I guess I need the go pro on my head?

I forgot to mention I went from the stock flexible 9X6 to an 11X7 APC that has a totally different profile and is composite. Picture before spinner/prop mod. The new set up will facilitate more airflow across the motor and ESC also.

The prop shaft is hard as a minister's D%^K!!!.... And now is broken... Quartering down wind landings... or flops..... Three nose overs and I get this... Hard was the last one!!! :nonod:

It rolls nicely... Snaps well. Loops accordingly.
I have a "parts" plane.
One thing cool about a build, you can do it how you want. One thing bad about a build, you might think you know what the f%^k you are doing.
I glued in a part to mount the RX on.

I've pulled a snapped axle in dump truck that look like that. Stupid driver learned what happens when you dump the clutch with a load.
I forget the size of the truck but it was powered by a Cat 3208. Always loved that engine. I can honestly say I've never had to do any major work on one. They just run and run.
