Battery cut off switch, which one?

For my 280 on my SS.

I really don't like this design. I had one that broke once. $37.52

I have the last one in both my boats. It has been in my Seaark for 10 years and still works great. It has all 100% copper lugs and connectors. Look for that for sure.

:iagree: I work on a lot of boats, the Blue seas one is very good. The little one (1st one) is junk

Have used a few of the third one with the key and never had any problems with it.

I have the one with the removable key,love it for those few times my boat stays anchored by itself at the beach.

We put the blue sea style in just about everything. Just remember what ever you use to support the cable close to the switch. Every busted switch I've come across was because the cable wasn't supported properly and the weight put a strain on the switch.

They also make a physical smaller switch that fits tight spaces better and I prefer it in a single battery application. For dual batter's it will work put can get cramped depending on cable size.

I have the last one in my boat, no issues to report

I use the keyed one on all heavy machines I repair. Never had a problem, it comes with 2 keys so hide one or zip tie it under your dash in case of loss.

Blue sea is the most reliable. in my opinion !

I used the Moroso switch from Jegs on my Mirage and it's works fantastic and trouble free.
