I met them briefly in 1978 while working at Orient Express Motorcycles in Freeport . The owner Jack O' Malley was good friends with them. they were Diamond Race Cars then .Really great to meet them again over the last few years .Quote:

Diamond Marine is legendary for a very good reason. Marty and Joe are not only among the best in the business, but great guys.
Marty sent me their programmable ECU, which was the very first reprogrammable, digital ECU for Mercury 2.4/2.5 engines, and it was made in the 1980s! Some are even still in service today. I was so happy to see this show up, and I consider it a very important piece of performance outboard history.
Their work is true craftsmanship.

Definitely pioneers in the sport.
They've laid hands on my power head twice. Once when the motor was new (in 1992) and a few years ago when it was time for a rebuild. Great people to deal with and the motor has always run flawlessly!

Marty told me they are working on some really cool stuff, and I can’t wait to see it. When I first moved to Florida, Marty and Joe invited me to their facility in Ft. Lauderdale. I was overwhelmed with how clean and organized it is, and being surrounded by the coolest components and engines in the business. First class all the way. I still have the photos from the article I did back then. I’ll post the, again because it’s a sight to see. Can’t wait to go back.Quote:
