Anyone interested in setting up a vking yt with a 300 yamaha? Well ill save you the trouble and time and head ache. I know all boats a different but this can set you in some direction. Just want to say thanks to all the local longisland boating friends in the area for letting me borrow and try all these props. If it wasnt for them i wouldnt be where im at now. The yamaha has 1.75 gears and a limiter at 6150rpm with 5in of setback. I tried 8 different props in the last few weeks. All acted different, some real good and some not so well. The ones i thought to run mint didnt and the ones i thought wouldnt run well they did. Most of these props were ran 1in to 1.25in above pad. All props ran 90-99mph on the limiter. Im waiting on a 15x35p HPD hoss to try and on the hunt for a 35p bravo. So far out of all the props i have tried the 34 bravo1 was the fastest and equal in handling to the 32 promax. Im on the hunt to get a stock bottom vking yt with a stock ecu 300yamaha to run a solid 105 mph. If on limiter after i try the 35hoss ill be sending out the ecu for more revs. Anyone interested in more info message away. I will be updating post as i make morw progress. Enjoy guys and stay fast!
