1987 22' Apache

1987 22' Apache scout. Has glassed in Knees and also has aluminum angle and Knees tied in with aluminum tie bars. Has brand new Silver Flex steering, Has new gauges and redid the entire trailer over winter new wheels and bearings bunkers re done spare added and re wired.
Hull has no signifigant stress cracks anywhere, Will need the fuel tank replaced, I've been running an Auxillary tank so as to not cut floor and do that job during the class 7 race season.
Has Great interior as well. I removed it before the season. The High back seats will come out and the original Grey and white apache interior is all here waiting to go back in.

At this very moment.... I"m tossing around buiding a very race specific 22' hull for class 7 where I change things like I'd like them as opposed to using my pleasure boat as a race boat.... IE Knees, Bigger Stringers, Crash bulkheads in bow, gauge placement and controls placement.... Fuel tank maybe further back so I can ride with trim down and hammer 60 through turns without even having to do much...
Or maybe like a 29'/30' center console for pleasure and jumping into a class 6 or class 5 boat.... options are there, just have to sell hull and trailer first, then I can figure out what Evinrude is going onto.. be it race or pleasure. Most likely now, I"ll build a brand new 22' factory race boat with someone.. superboat or defender or sutphen jr....

Not going to buy one of those cats as I don't have a steady throttle man with w now. I'm like a one man team. If I had a partner or someone I knew was going to every race that I trusted on the sticks different story.

lots of lookers this weekend and emails etc... no cash yet. Either way I had a great weekend blasting in it, Time to start my next season build though....

WHEN?? IF it doesn't sell I'm racing it in OceanCity MD in October and will be in Florida in November. IF youhave cash, I"ll pull the motor and High back seats in W Palm Beach at my friends shop.. Will have complete Apache Interior for you and you can either put buckets like I race with in or the stock Apache seats which are mint back in it..... You can pick it up there unless you want it sooner In which case contact me and I will deliver it to West Palm area and you can take it the rest of the way. If you want i'll pull vinyl and have all detailed too.
