So they want you to leave them behind to be looted?
^ BINGO!! And no way of protecting yourself or family in the event of a evacuation???
Another BS story...
Another BS Story? Guess thats why it's on the Florida Senates active Agenda. https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2014/0296
And documented that the Sherrifs are against it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ggd1kECrUw
If I evacuate my home, guns will be evacuating with me. They can try to get into my locked safe to see if I left any. ;)
Total "mind (should I say COP"?) control"..for idiots. No need me to ever "evacuate" here. But if so? Food/gas and weapons..."DUH?"
Here's the statute:
Whenever the public official declares that a state of emergency exists, pursuant to s.870.043, the following acts shall be prohibited during the period of said emergency throughout the jurisdiction: (1) The sale of, or offer to sell, with or without consideration, any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(2) The intentional display, after the emergency is declared, by or in any store or shop of any ammunition or gun or other firearm of any size or description.
(3) The intentional possession in a public place of a firearm by any person, except a duly authorized law enforcement official or person in military service acting in the official performance of her or his duty.
Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to authorize the seizure, taking, or confiscation of firearms that are lawfully possessed, unless a person is engaged in a criminal act.
The last part where they say "lawfully possessed" means if you have a ccw, they can not stop you and take your gun away......
Yes but is also says unless your engaged in a criminal act. The very fact of a state of emergency means everyone who isn't a law enforcement officer or Military is a criminal for the period of that state of emergency or Marshal law. But hey thats why Laws exist. To be broken. If your not breaking a law your not living right according to a Lawyer friend of mine. Most Laws are designed in North America to go {against} human nature and suppress the week so the strong can go on making billions. The difference between someone in jail or Not is the size of there bank account. Everyone breaks the Law or you live in a hole some were. Theres probably a law against that to. :]
Some of the most common broken laws are
Eating while driving
Jay walking
Peeing outside
Getting a Dog license
Singing happy birthday or christmas songs
Or if your a real bad ass- connecting to unsecured WI-FI
Did most of them today with my glock on standby :D
Laws were made to be broken...lol
Think about your day every day. I bet you go over the speed limit everyday. :] Thats breaking the law. or throw a cig but out the window. Or your community is on fire and you want to save your guns that you have been collecting and passes down since the 1800,s. Those are all breaking the law also but most cops will turn a blind eye because there sorta human also.:D
I break the law in my boat all the time, I wear a lifeline Jacket.
