3.4L V6 low water pickup

Has anyone out there put a nose cone/low water pickup on one of the V6 3.4L Mercs?
it may sound silly but I’m curious.

I put a auto meter pressure gauge on my fuel system so i can monitor it. When I tried it out it started at 62 # and after i ran awhile it stayed at 70#,
