Trick Powerboats has seen a whirlwind of interest in their stunning 23 Widebody since its introduction last spring. The Gulf Racing-inspired 23 that we have seen previously commanded much well-deserved attention, and the most recent 23 to be completed shows a much different styling direction that is no less impressive.
The Mercury Racing 500R is mated to a Bob’s Machine Shop Action Series hydraulic jackplate, which is proven to be very reliable while able to handle the immense torque of the Mercury R-series engines. Control is provided by Mercury DTS foot and hand throttles and Mercury Max 5 and CNC Cleavers deliver the thrust. A Garmin 943 Navionics+ provides the main display with a separate remote display for the passengers.
The many electronic upgrades include a 600-watt seven-speaker Fusion Audio sound system with subwoofer, and Lumishore RGB LED interior and underwater lighting.
Midlands Canvas created the gorgeous custom interior, tastefully incorporating the striking geometric patterns that dominate the overall design. All elements of the interior are cohesively blended together, invoking the look and feel of an exotic supercar. I especially like how the paint design accentuates the angles of the outboard, juxtaposing powerful lines with a gentile gold gradient. It is one of the most unique and striking designs I have ever seen and the execution here is incredible.
