The new Livorsi side-mount controls are for use on all Mercury DTS equipped engines: Verado 150-400R, Mercruiser 5.0L–8.2L, Optimax 225, Mercury Racing 520, 540, 565, 1100, 1350, and Cummins engines that are DTS capable.

All handles are ergonomically designed for comfortable shifting and throttling. Smooth shifting and throttling are light years ahead of the push/pull cable design.

Designed, developed and manufactured in-house, the naturally aspirated, 4.6L V-8 four-stroke engines share Mercury Racing’s venerable Quad Cam Four Valve (QC4) sterndrive DNA – complete with aluminum four-valve cylinder heads and dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) valve train. The four-valve heads and DOHC valve train is integrated with Mercury’s proprietary V-8 cylinder block, packed with high-performance hardware.
