Just an observation, more and more 'streams are ending up without shields.
(many other older boats too)
The supply must be drying up.
Anyway, I asked a friend of mine who owns an plastics molding company in Canada if he can produce new ones if anyone was interested. The short answer was yes, the first one costs 20 grand, the second one is 20 bucks.
If the demand is 20 units or so, they can make a form from an original and hand make them rather than build a press, and produce unit for a lot less, maybe in the $hundreds.

Let me know if there is interest in this or already a source.

Thanks,

Bill

P.S., I'm talking about replacement components for older models, not splashing or violating anyones copyrights.

Hydrostream Canada sells 'em for about $400 CDN I think.

I'm going to buy one eventually, but not for the first year. Maybe people without windshields just don't want to pay the price.

The shields kill the sleek profile in my opinion, look more agressive without em'...

It would be cool if they made 'em in colors. Like motorcycle windscreens, yellow, blue, green, red, ect. I wouldn't have a stream without the windshield. Fortunatly mine is in decent shape.

My valeo needs side windows due to scratches but I can get the local plastics supplier to cut some from opaque black or all sections if i deside to keep the boat long enough to get that far
