2002 Opti 225

Has anyone had any problems with this motor?

I have a 2003 225 opti on my 21' checkmate ,its been great and fuel economy is very good.

The 2003 model is more reliable than the 2002 model. The 2003 model is a bit upgraded and have less "bugs". I have a 2002 model 200 opti and have had some problems. search the forum for the 3 liter opti.

How many hours would be reasonable?
on an 02 and what bugs?

Ok. I have read a thread on this site that the Optimax is "supposed" to last about 700 hours. My 200 opti started having problems with the air and fuel regulators after 250 hours. Otherwise I enjoy the performance of this engine. It has great torque and low fuel consumtion.
