Has anyone tryed Ficht reed cages in a Fastrike?I heard the would really help the thing.Also can anyone tell me what the Rev limit is On a 92 150 Faststrike?Also who makes the best aftermaket bolt ons to step up the power a little,does anyone make tuners or modify intakes,tell me what ya'll think....... your motor will be on the limiter @6200 give or take depending on the accuracy of your tach. fitch cages are a slight bit more open,but not enough to merit the expense. You have time and a dremel tool or die grinder you can sit down and open the cages just like anyone else. The intake on the motor is very very short and the throttle response is excellent as it sits. I personally don`t know of any tuners for the OMC that that has grabbed anyones attention. Best bet for performance is 1.remove limiter 2.cut the heads for compression,if you want to buy higher price gasoline 3.leave the motor alone and enjoy the reliability,low noise level,and smoothness.
