Looking for a website/chatroom much like S&F or dieselplace for corvettes. Anyone know of a good one worth visiting? I have a C4 and have a lot of little stuff to do to it, and am looking for some additional knowledge and or tips.

There are several good ones. The Corvette Forum, linked above is a good site with a lot of diversity. The Corvette Action Center is another one: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/ and if I remember right was a spinoff from CF and is very similar. Depending on the depth of your interest, the REAL Corvette purists join the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) and use their website: http://www.ncrs.org/forum/tech.cgi

I'm actually a lot deeper in to Corvettes than boats in terms of shear numbers, and feel that NCRS membership is essential to the continued growth of the hobby. I've been a member for around 30 years and although I get frustrated sometimes with the entrenched traditions, there's nothing else that even comes close.

Incidentally, I HATE those damn "C" designations that people are usin' on Corvettes now. I always have to pull my socks of and count on my toes to see what year sequence they're talkin' about. It usta be "straight axles", "mid years" and "late models". Damn college boys and newbies................ gonna screw up the whole world.

What are you wanting to do? I had a 96 Yellow LT4 with a 383/Vortech supercharger/Procharger Intercooler and Nitrous. I spent hundreds of hours on the dyno and swapped out my computer with a 95 "OBD1" and programmed it myself.

Thanks for the websites links. Just what I was looking for. I will be spending a lot more of my life on the computer at work now!

Raceman: I am by no means a corvette purist, but have admired them since romping around in my dad's injected 58... thank god im not in college...

Skatin: Im looking for misc. parts right now to fix all the little stuff that can go wrong with an 18 year old car with 116k miles. Eventually I would like to do some road course/autocross with it, as I dont really plan on selling it. I figure it to be my ongoing project/driver for years to come, as I have very little money into it, and there is much potential, as you know. So far I have only done wheels/tires, lowered 3/4"f 1"b, crossdrilled/slotted rotors/pads, adjusted valves, and misc little tune up help. My first car was an 87 5.0 mustang, and there was a laundry list of stuff that would help those cars out, with just a little work. I know these year vetts are the same. Just need to tap into the resources. Sounds like your combination is close to what I would like to eventually do, minus the squeez.
