We won 2 class championships at the Loadmaster Vintage World Championships in Eagle River Wisc. last weekend. Our 1982 Skidoo Supermod won the 1985 and older Sno-Pro 440 IFS and Sno-Pro 440 IFS-X classes. www.derbytrack.com www.samsonracing.com

I also raced the load master classic......... won the heat sat.... wrecked on sunday in relic 800... I guesse you need BRAKES!!!!!!!!! This was NOT one of our best showings..... knowing we had 3 sleds that could win & bad luck just hung in our trailer all weekend... kurt extremevintageracing.com

I was up at the races sat and sun, been going up to Eagle River for the races for 26 years now. The championship race on sunday was a great one. I'm sure glad they have the snocross Races also, I think that really helps bring in the fans.

I like fast boats like everyone else that will read this. Wintertime boaters in the north naturally look at fast sleds. I would like to point out that Rhinelander WI started the big snowmobile races (and a guy from Min won it on a Polaris) but due to poor PR, politics, and generally missing the boat Eagle River now has the best races. Remember the Hodag 50? As a Rhi guy congrats to ER for taking this sport to the next level.

I made it back to Eagle after not being there since 96. Started going in 1975. Saw alot of old friends. It was good seeing Dave & Durmont Wahl again... other than gray hair, neither has changed much... good guys. Dave introduced me to his kid... a few minutes later Dustin schmucked the fence. Haven't heard how he's doing. I used to sell Wahl's alot of 80 SnoPro IFS chassis stuff (post Arctic/Dave Thompson) in the mid 80s. I miss being in that loop. Fun ****!
