Saturday January 7th.

If anyone would like to come down to St. Cloud it looks like we might be having a little testing session. I'm sure we can find a couple of bouys and setup a course on one of the lakes. This will be an informal pre-season practice session on the Alligator Chain. :D

If you're not racing with FBI this year, no big deal, come on over and drink some beers. ;)

I 'm not a racer but I need to run the Mirage with the 24 " . I will try to plan to go over and see what she'll do against some of you hot shots (Andy ) , and crew .

Since not everyone is coming from the same direction, I will give you directions from 192. Depending on where you come from get yourself to 192 in St. Cloud. From Downtown St. Cloud, head east on 192 towards Melbourne. You will take 192 to Nova Road and make a left. There is a Shell station on the left and it is right before 192 goes from 4 lanes to 2. Take Nova 3 miles and turn left onto Eden Drive. (You'll see the lake on the left just before Eden) Take Eden all the way to the end and my house is the 2nd to last on the left. Figure we can meet here and decide which lake will be best to run on. There's a ramp on our lake and we have access to all 6 from here. ;) If you need more specific directions to St. Cloud, PM or call or put my address into Mapquest (566 Eden Drive, St Cloud).

ZEIMER , Should the people from Jacksonville take I-95 to Mellborn (192) and then head west to Nova , or is there a better cut off for them ? Thanks ! Rich Martin 018

Rich, when I come home from up north I take 95 south to CR524 in Cocoa....take 524 west until it dead ends into 520, then take a right (west still). Follow this over the St Johns River, you will see a sign pointing "St Cloud" and a left arrow, take this road. It is the other end of Nova Rd. Follow Nova until you start to see signs of civilization. Seriously... :eek: You will cross over a small canal with a small earthen dam on your left hand side and a sign next to the canal with the SFWMD alligator on it. Eden Dr is not far past this canal (maybe a half mile). I believe it will be the first street on your right with a green street sign. If you cross over a second canal with a lake on your right, you went too far. :D

Don't think I will quite have mine together so I will most likely be cruising around in a pontoon boat. (With a big notepad, a camera, some stopwatches, etc. :D :D ;) )

Depending on the weather, we can run where ever the wind will least affect us. If possible we can go to Alligator where we already have a course setup. If it's too bad over there, there's plenty of other spots where the wind won't be a factor. :cool:

Keep an eye on the weather for this weekend. This morning they were saying a cold front is coming through on Friday and it's only supposed to be in the 50's on Saturday. ;)

My boat will most likely not be ready for the weekend so if we need to postpone it's no big deal to me.

We're going to postpone this weekend testing for the fact that it's going to be in the 30's Sat morning and not get much above 50 all day. If you guys want to do in a week or two let me know. I should have my boat back together in the next week to two weeks. ;)

I'll be out riding around in circles, just trying to burn some gas and break this new motor in. I put Allisoon Man back to work yesterday, so hopefully by Sat. morning it will be in the water. ;)

Don't worry about this weekend, we all pitched in and got Tyner's fence done early so we could break out all the top secret stuff, since we knew none of you guys were coming. :D :D

It hasnt been started yet.He had two boats ahead of me and a few other progects to finish first.I talked to Jack last week and told him to take his time if he had a lot going on.I dont plan on having it ready for the first two races anyway.Still gotta rigg it and get a power head.I'll post some pics as soon as I get the first update photos. :)

Looks like we should have mine back together either later today or first thing in the morning, so I should be out doing a bunch of circles. :D I think Andy is coming over tomorrow too. The wind is supposed to die off for tomorrow and be a little bit warmer (<10 mph and 65 degrees)

Here's a few pics from yesterday. Believe or not my daughter is under that blanket somewhere. (It actually was a really nice day, it was only a little chilly when running) :D

This was an after shot of Andy and Jeff. Jeff actually was driving when they left. I think if Hydrostream builds that bass boat on top of the Venom hull Tyner will be trading in his Allison. I think he was actually on the phone with Jim at Hydrostream checking on the progress of the new bassboat.:eek: :D

I don't care about that. I know what i need to do. I just want to see a pic. The boat felt a little loose but thats why we call it testing, come Feb I,ll have it ready. Besides there are a lot worst things than to loose a pass to Jeff Tyner neither one of us were going to show our "A" game yesterday.
