A friend and customer of mine is a fairly serious player, and he highly recommends this site: http://www.chessclub.com/ . He says the play can be pretty fast paced, not like some Yahoo and other sites, where you might make a move a day, and never finish the game. There are 5 Grand Masters and 22 International Masters playing right now. You can play as a guest for free indefinitely, or join and gain ranking. :cool:

jerry, some of us like to exercise our mind and keep it moving forward. others (jerry) like to sit on the couch,half inch of slob hanging from mouth,dreaming of cool cans,wendys spicy chicken value meals and what ever beer is on sale at 7-11. :p
