Inexpensive 300P/M Upgrades?

I recently purchased a 1998 21 Eliminator Daytona w/ 300PM. I'm just curious if there are some mods available that I could do, while keeping reliability. I've looked into Reeds, and intake and the like...But do not know which companies/direction to go. I'm looking at spending no more that $1500-2000, so I'd obviously like the best "bang for the buck." Let me know what my options are.

SVS reed plate and exhaust tuner.

I'm able to find the SVS web page...I see they have the complete SVS system that includes the Reed Plate. Is it worth it to do the complete SVS package that retails for $1800? Also, what brand of exhaust tuner should I look in to?

There are many posts about SVS vs MAD EFI! In my opinion go with Wayne Taylors Mad EFI set-up on a three liter. The other best source is Eric Simon, give him an E-mail or a post and he will help you out:D :D
