I've been boating a long time and thought I'd seen it all until one day about 20 years ago. It was about the end of the jet boat rage and a few folks on lake Ontario still ran them. Anyway, it you recall, a lot of the squirter boat trailers were drive on--no winch. So one day at the ramp, I spotted two fellows heading in with a 19ft. Glastron jet. by the time they got near the dock, it was pretty clear they'd been into the bottle pretty good. So one of them hops out and heads for the car--a Lincoln Continental-- and starts backing it down the ramp. The other guy was taking a pretty good bead on the back of the trailer. Now, you really needed to finesse those boats onto the trailer. Not this guy. He jams the throttle and puts the nose of the boat over the trailer and onto the trunk of the car. It took six of us to push it off. Lots of fun.
