Hey John,225 Promax,plugged Top Of Block,plugged Poppit Valve In Two Piece Plate,plugged Water Dump To Mid Section On Outside,under Skirt,too Mid Section, Have Been Running It This Way ,two Year's Now,99 Year Model,also No Thermostats,just 1/8 Washer's,what Is Your Very Valued Opinion? Wot 7000-7400 ,any Chance Of Cold Seizing?--thanks Ed:)

I don’t quite understand exactly what you did. Two piece plate motors don’t dump from the popet. Are you running a popet valve? What is your water presure now.

Hey John,popit Valve Is In Place,but Have Brass Plug In Outside,that Hose That Went To Top Of Block,also Plugged With Brass Plug,water Pressure 2-5 Idling,15 Wot--thanks Ed:)

Well Ed, the numbers sound close. With stock motors that have two piece plates and don’t turn 8000 RPM I like the leave the cooling system totally stock so the motor lasts as long as possible. Running them cold just wares them out real fast.

What is your water presure and water temp at WOT.
