Ok, I'm not running yet but will be soon. I'm looking for the best way to set this up. I run two optima batteries and thats all I want to run. With the 40amp promax I had, it was no problems at all. I have a straight 24V TM system. Its been set up with one battery just doing trolling duties and the other doing trolling duties, cranking, and boat electronics. Will this work with only a 16amp system???? Or should I move my boat electronics to the other battery and have this battery just do big motor and troll. Even thinking about getting a straight 12V system???? Dont' want to take the chance not having enough juice for fuel pump and ECU. Even kicking around an altenator system or 40amp system? I have an onboard charger that gets plugged in everytime I get off the water.

Add a stand alone cranking battery, that motor needs the voltage & you won't notice the weight difference in that boat.
