I am putting a mad-efi mid on my looper v-6 and while it is down what should I do, should I cut the web out of the adapter, should I dry it out and if I do will the water pump last on long river runs, and do you dry it totally or epoxy the holes shut then drill a small hole, also if anyone has put this mid on any tips you learned and would like to pass on would be greatly appreciated, thanks Matt

My liner was cut out to just above the bottom of the tuner and was dry stacked with the small bleed holes drilled in the epoxie and a alum plate over the water pump.It is extreamly loud to anyone behind me :D

Mine is dry stacked. I have two small slots in the tunner to let some exhust go through the lower unit. I have not had any trouble with the water pump. As Airboater says, it is loud when you get on plane. You need good paint on the mid or it will blister. :)

Hey talk to the man who made it. He made an adaptor for me to put a SuperTrap on it.

I got the mid today and it explains itself alot better, he has a plate that diverts exhaust from pump with 3 slots to exit some out the bottom it looks like you dont use any of the old can assy. I cant wait to get this together, going to talk to my machinist next week, the only thing that puzzles me now is the bottom motor mount spacing, but I will call Wayne on this, or if anyone had some pics this always helps, thanks Matt

Wayne does make the bottom mount for the V6 mid but I think it does require some grinding .
