I have a l&s jack plate that leaks hydrolic fluid has anyone repaired one? I think I read its an oring that needs to be replaced. Thanks Rick

I have one. Where is it leaking from? The seal between the motor & ram cylinder is what went bad on mine. Leaked fluid into the motor, now junk. Buy a new one. It's so slow to begin with I rarely moved it except to come up to the beach. ANYTHING is better than this plate.

I got this one for the right price the motor runs fine but it leaks. I have not taken apart but it looks to be well made. I need at least 9 inches of set back and I got a 6 inch manual and was gonna add this one if I can get it to work. Rick

ttt someone has got to have had one of these apart. This looks as new and with the 2 plates I might have enough set back for the baja. Does it help that it has a merc :eek: Thanks Rick

Actually it's still on the boat until I get another one.
