crankshaft grinding repair???

I cannot find a used 2 cyl 40 crank for my merc 1997,has anybody sent there crank out to have it repaired ,is this something thats gonna last or waste of money

man thats right on if nothing pops up on ebay by xmas ,those guys are gonna do the crank
