I was just wondering if you can hone out chrome bore cylinders in a 88 2.4? I have heard that you arent supposed to and I was just wondering.

haha I was just curious actually. I am in the process of rebuilding a 2.4 and was just wondering! Thanks for the answers though:D

Can you not deglaze them with a ball hone or even finishing stones on a fixed hone?

Wrap ya hone wit Scotchbrite and juss cleen the cyls good....datz all!!

never did think of a scotchbrite hone, all ways do it by hand, nik the same :cool: slow spin? :eek: :cool:
